As you know, we had been experiencing problems with the Urban Explorers website, its login system and our old forums. So it was decided to take this opportunity to proceed with the planned major upgrade.
A few things of note:
1. For this upgrade, I implemented a new forum program. Since the old program contained so many different elements that could not be transferred over cleanly, it was determined that starting fresh may be the best way to address this. I apologize for this inconvenience.
I need your help. It would greatly help us if you had previously posted to the old forum, if you would take a few minutes to repost those messages again, or to start new topics there. The more we can get back into that area, the better the experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Our Network area is now called Explorers. It operates the same way and has a greatly improved social media area. But because of the problems we were having with the site, the database was not transferring over well. So we are starting fresh here too. Sorry. As soon as you receive your new login credentials, you should log into the site and update your Explorers profile. You will then be able to add photos and videos, add friends and groups, etc. as you did before the problems started happening.
3. To help support the site and the added costs of maintaining it, I've added a store to the site. I hope that you like the custom products made just for you, our Urban Explorers Network members. Please show your support by purchasing items that you can proudly wear to show your interest in urban exploring.
